Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc is easily accessible in the heart of Haute-Savoie, whether you prefer to travel by train, car, or on foot.
The Saint-Gervais-les-Bains-Le Fayet train station is the main point of entry. It is served by direct TGV trains from Paris during the high season and, year-round, by the Léman Express from Geneva. Once at Le Fayet station, you can reach the village center via the valley lift (gondola), the Mont-Blanc Tramway, or the free shuttle buses.

It’s very easy to get here via the Autoroute Blanche (A40), Exit 21. Saint-Gervais is just 1 hour from Geneva, 2 hours from Lyon, and 5.5 hours from Paris. In winter, make sure your vehicle is equipped with snow tires or chains, in accordance with the Mountain Law.
Saint-Gervais is part of the Lake Geneva to Mont Blanc bike route, an ambitious project connecting Geneva to Chamonix via the Arve Valley. If you’re touring, several safe sections are already open for you to reach us:
That’s the question every traveler asks. Downtown Saint-Gervais offers several options, but they fill up quickly during school breaks or major events.

Did you know? At PlanB Saint-Gervais, we provide private parking for our guests. No more driving around in circles in the village: just drop off your bags, park your car, and you won’t need to touch it for the rest of your stay!
Once installed, cars become unnecessary. Saint-Gervais has invested heavily in infrastructure for both non-motorized and motorized transportation.
Serving as a link between the valley and the mountains, the Valléen lift connects the Fayet train station to the village center in less than 5 minutes. It is the fastest and most eco-friendly way to avoid the winding road.

To reach the Thermal Park and the famous Saint-Gervais Thermal Baths from downtown, a unique inclined wastewater elevator lets you effortlessly overcome the elevation difference while enjoying a spectacular view of the waterfall. Plus, it’s completely free!

This network of free shuttle buses operates year-round. It serves the various hamlets, the town center, and the ski lift stations. It’s the preferred choice for families heading to ski lessons.
More than just a mode of transportation, the Mont-Blanc Tramway is an experience. It takes you from Le Fayet to Saint-Gervais, toward the Col de Voza or Bellevue in winter, and all the way to the Nid d'Aigle in summer. Its departure station is located right next to the Le Fayet SNCF train station.
PlanB Living Saint-Gervais is ideally located for anyone looking to escape the hassles of driving. Just a 3-minute walk from the SNCF train station, the Valléen, and the TMB, you’re right at the heart of Saint-Gervais’s transportation network.
Whether you want to go skiing, hiking, or relax at the thermal baths (10 minutes away), everything is within walking distance or accessible by public transportation. PlanB offers you complete freedom: the freedom to enjoy the mountains without ever having to search for a parking spot.
